2019年6月9日，天津黑利伯瑞国际学校Peter校长、高校长、贾主任、安主任一行四人来我校进行了为期两天的交流活动。
On June 9, 2019, President Peter Rogerson, President Gao Hu, director Jia Zhiting and director An Likun of Haileybury International School came to our school for a two-day exchange activity.
9日下午14时，我校董事长王向阳先生亲自陪同贵宾游览千山风景区，共同感受我国北方传统文化的魅力与风土人情。
At 14:00 on the 9th, Mr. Wang Xiangyang, the chairman of our school, guided the valued guests to visit Mount Qian scenic area, and shared the charm of traditional culture and local customs in the northern part of China.
10日上午9时，王向阳先生引领贵宾参观学校设施设备。随后，双方举行了“友谊树”种植仪式，携手种下“友谊树”----银杏。Peter校长亲自为“友谊树”挂牌，象征着两校友谊之树长青，将共同携手践行国际化教育理念。
At 9:00 the next day, Mr. Wang Xiangyang led the valued guests to visit the facilities and the physical plant of the school. Later, representatives from both sides held a ceremony to plant the "Friendship Tree" - ginkgo. President Peter Rogerson laced up the sign of "Friendship Tree", symbolizing the evergreen friendship tree between the two schools, and they will work together to implement the concept of international education.
最后，双方召开了座谈会，王向阳先生对一行人的到来表示欢迎，对黑利伯瑞国际学校在我校建校初期所给予的支持表示感谢，并希望双方能够开展深度合作，共谋发展。黑利伯瑞领导对北外辽校建设和发展给予了高度赞赏和认可，Peter校长特别分享了澳大利亚小班化教学模式及成熟的直接教学法，希望与我校建立长期学术交流、学生研学活动的机制，促成两校共同进步。
At last, representatives from both sides held a symposium. Mr. Wang Xiangyang welcomed the arrival of the delegation and thanked H.I.S.T. for its support at the early stage of our school's establishment. He hoped that the representatives of two sides could carry out in-depth cooperation and seek common development. The leadership of Haileybury highly appreciated and recognized the construction and development of the school. President Peter Rogerson especially shared the small-class system teaching model and mature direct teaching method in Australia, hoping to establish a long-term mechanism of academic exchanges and student research activities with our school, and promote the common progress of the two schools.
